With the summer holidays fast approaching, now is the perfect time to treat the family. As one of the best historic places to visit in the bustling heart of the city, Tower Bridge combines stunning viewpoints of London and fun activities for all the family.

Every month, Tower Bridge will be dedicating an entire day to family activities with performances and interactive exhibitions. Throughout the year, the most famous bridge London will play host to a number of different activity days, ranging from the scientific, historic and artistic.

On August 20th, our expert team will be offering hands-on activities that explore the different jobs once carried out in the Engine Rooms. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to take part in a quiz and take away your very own special edition certificate at the end of the day.

Tower Bridge will also be offering more Maths and Science related activity days throughout September, where you can find out interesting facts about one of the most famous landmarks in London, and even have a go at making your own trading vessel and racing it against others!.

If you’re feeling more artistic, then the ‘Big Draw’ could be ideal for you. Taking place in October, you’ll be able to take in breath-taking panoramic views of the city from the high level walkways as well as marvel at the historic architecture of the bridge. Then, you’ll be taken down into the engine rooms to take part in creating a large scale art piece. You’ll not only be able to develop fantastic new art skills, but you’ll also be able to take part in the world’s biggest drawing event as part of your Tower Bridge experience.

There will also be the opportunity to listen to lots of fun and interesting stories about the Bridge itself, including talks about those who built the bridge, to those who worked deep down in the engine rooms. This is your chance to find out the fascinating historical details of one of the top London attractions, and go exploring as well.
